My Experience

MY EXPERIENCE AT CAMPUS

The summer after I graduated from high school, I realized that the most impressive parts of my education had not come from the classroom.  From athletics to clubs to student government, my life was most enriched not by classroom knowledge, but through the application of that knowledge in various activities. With that realization, I decided to take advantage of the many opportunities I would have to be active at the University of Udayana.

I could say without hesitation that it was the right decision. College is about more than just attending classes and doing research; it is a time for individual development through diverse relationships.  My involvement on campus consists primarily of two endeavors; Udayana Science Club (USC) and membership in HIMAKOM.  I have learned so much from these different activities that my college experience has been enhanced tenfold.  Both require hard work and tenacity while returning diverse rewards.

Through science club, I have developed better time management skills, as it has forced me to spent my time around practices and games.  I have also fostered relationships with my professors while working with them to schedule due dates and quizzes around road trips.  Finally, I have gained a strong loyalty to my school that comes from wearing its colors on the field.

Through my involvement in the HIMAKOM, I have learned of the many positive aspects of a world often misunderstood by society at large. Beyond the parties exists a strong brotherhood and an organization stressing personal responsibility.  I have been given a chance to hold various leadership positions, through which I have gained important skills for my post-graduation life.

In the end, participation in these two extra-curricular activities has allowed me to meet new people and cultivate new ideas to which I might have never otherwise been exposed. It’s made my college life much more balanced. Through it all, I’ve experienced invaluable personal growth which has thoroughly convinced me of the merit of extra-curricular activities.

Reading Quiz in Class A

Reading Quiz in Class A

Now, I want to tell you about my first quiz in English Lesson. My first quiz is reading test, this quiz should be followed by all of student in class A at Monday. But, there were some student did not have an e-learning account yet. Because they did not know their e-mail address and their password in the first time when sign up at Computer Science mail. Therefore they did not follow the quiz and they did not get value in this test.
Yesterday, my quiz was a reading test. Reading is one of my hobbies. I like reading books, especially regarding computer science and development. In addition, I also love browsing in web for stories and comics, especially comics Conan and novels. It's all about my hobbies, we back to my English quiz. There were 2 text in my quiz yesterday. The title were Beginners guide for backpacking and The Wright Brothers.
The first quiz was fill in the blanks and I was very sad because I got the little value. I was not know if we must answered the question with simple answer and it must same with the answer key. Because of that, I became very sad, my answer has the same meaning with the answer key. But because of slight differences in writing to make my answer to be blamed. So, I got the little value.
In the second quiz, we must choose the correct answer between a, b, c, and d. It made me more calm when compared to the first reading quiz. In the final I got a better value than before. But I regretted for not getting the perfect value yesterday. So, I want to more harder to study English, therefore I can get the best value. Astungkara  ^ _ ^
